How to Use This Guide

The Comprehensive Ranking System (CRS) awards up to 1,200 points across four sections. Use the tables below to find your approximate score in each category and add them together for an estimate of your total CRS score. This is an estimation tool only. Your actual CRS score is calculated by IRCC's system based on your official Express Entry profile. For a precise score and strategic advice, consult with our RCIC team — we review your actual documents and identify every point you qualify for.

What Does Your Estimate Mean?

🟢

500+ Points

Highly competitive for most general Express Entry draws. You may receive an ITA in a general draw without needing additional strategies. Still worth exploring PNP and category-based draw options to accelerate timing.

🟡

400–499 Points

Competitive for category-based draws (healthcare, trades, French, agriculture) if applicable. May need a provincial nomination or language improvement to qualify for general draws. Strong candidates for several PNP streams.

🔴

Below 400 Points

General Express Entry draws are unlikely at current cutoffs. Focus on PNP streams, language improvement, gaining Canadian work experience, or French language proficiency. Consult an RCIC to identify your best available pathway.

Get Your Precise CRS Score From a Regulated RCIC

This guide gives you an estimate — but your actual CRS score depends on how IRCC's system interprets your specific documents. Our RCIC, David Johl (R519520), will:

  • Review your actual language test results and convert them accurately to CLB
  • Assess your education credentials and determine the correct education level for CRS purposes
  • Confirm which of your work experience qualifies under the NOC TEER categories
  • Identify any skills transferability points you may have missed
  • Determine which category-based draws your profile qualifies for
  • Advise on the fastest and most realistic pathway to your ITA — whether that's waiting in the pool, improving your score, or pursuing a PNP

This assessment is the foundation of everything. Don't navigate Express Entry without it.

Ready for Your Real CRS Assessment?
