Who Needs a Study Permit?
You need a study permit if you are studying at a DLI in a program that is longer than 6 months. You do not need a study permit for courses or programs 6 months or shorter, though you still need a valid visitor visa or eTA to enter Canada.

After You Graduate — PGWP
Within 180 days of receiving your final marks (transcripts or graduation letter), apply for a Post-Graduation Work Permit (PGWP).
