PEI PNP Streams

Express Entry

PEI selects candidates from the federal Express Entry pool with ties to PEI (job offer, education, family) or those in priority occupations. Provincial nomination adds 600 CRS points for near-certain PR invitation.

Labour Impact Category — Skilled Worker Stream

For workers with a full-time, permanent job offer from a PEI employer in a NOC TEER 0–3 occupation. Must have 2+ years of relevant work experience and meet language requirements (CLB 6 for TEER 0/1, CLB 4 for TEER 2/3).

Labour Impact — Critical Worker Stream

For workers already employed in PEI in certain lower-TEER occupations experiencing critical shortages — primarily food processing, accommodation and food services, and retail. Requires 6 months of PEI work experience.

International Graduate Stream

For graduates of UPEI, Holland College, or Collège de l'Île who have a permanent, full-time job offer in PEI in their field of study. Must have graduated within 3 years of applying.

Business Impact Category

For experienced entrepreneurs who commit to owning and actively managing a business in PEI. Minimum net worth of $600,000, investment of $150,000 in Charlottetown or $100,000 elsewhere in PEI. Work permit while business is established, nomination after.
