MPNP Pathways

Skilled Workers in Manitoba

For workers currently employed in Manitoba with a full-time, indefinite job offer. Must have been working in Manitoba for at least 6 months. No minimum CLB, but language ability is scored. Manitoba employers can refer workers directly.

Skilled Workers Overseas

For workers outside Canada who have a genuine connection to Manitoba — either through a qualifying job offer from a Manitoba employer, or through family members who are Canadian citizens or PR holders in Manitoba, or prior Manitoba education.

International Education Stream

For graduates of a Manitoba post-secondary institution who have graduated within 3 years of applying. Must have a Manitoba job offer in a qualifying occupation. Career Employment pathway and Graduate Internship pathway available.

Business Investor Stream

Minimum net worth of $500,000 CAD, $250,000 investment in Winnipeg or $150,000 in rural Manitoba. Must actively manage the business and operate it for at least 1 year before nomination is confirmed.
